Overview
Let your customers help you choose the most effective product design. Use Eye Tracking methodology to test product visibility on the shelf in comparison to other brands and other SCUs. More so, get a clear understanding of the efficiency of separate package elements.
This survey is applicable for different product categories - food, beverages, snacks, electronic devices etc. Test the design of bottles, cans, jars, bars, boxes and other types of packaging.
This is an Eye Tracking methodology. You will need an eye tracking device for conducting interviews.

The main purpose of this survey is to choose the most effective packaging design in your product category.
Key indicators to be analyzed:
➢ overall likability among customers
➢ visibility on the shelf (eye tracking)
➢ correspondence with the brand and with other SKUs
➢ driving purchase intent
➢ driving brand image attributes
Present number of designs in a current template - 2 (both shown to each respondent in a random order).
Test this methodology. Switch to Live mode if you are testing with an eye tracker. Switch to Preview mode if you do not have an eye tracker yet.
To evaluate 1 design: please delete one of the Sections "PACKAGE DESIGN_DETAILED TEST".
To evaluate 3+ designs please:
➢ copy the Section "PACKAGE DESIGN_DETAILED TEST" for each of them
➢ in Section settings check RANDOMIZE SECTIONS and choose PACKAGE DESIGN
➢ to use monadic test (you can choose how many designs to show to your respondents, e.g. 2 out of 4) in Section settings check USE MONADIC TEST under RANDOMIZE SECTIONS and put the number of designs to show to each respondent (in our example - 2). All designs will be shown in a random order.
Recommended sample size: 50 - 100 respondents per design.
Please add demographic questions and questions about consumption in your product category to find your target audience.
